STEPS IN MAKING A DECISION:

 PAUSE (Proverbs 19:2 NIV)

“Desire without knowledge is not good, how much more will hasty feet
miss the way!”

o Avoid making fast decisions.

o Get the fact and examine all the possible outcomes.

READ (Psalms 119:105 NIV)

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

o Let God take on it, see what his words say about it.

ASK (Proverbs 15:22 NIV)

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers,  they succeed.”

o Get advice from a reliable source.

YIELD (Luke 22:42 NIV)

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will,
 

but yours be done.”

o Jesus spoke those words giving us a principle to follow.

o Our will needs to yield to God’s will.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS WE NEED TO DECIDE ON?

SERVE JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART

ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are
ultimately our responsibility.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

o The biggest and the best decision that we need to make is living for
Jesus.

STAND FIRM WHEN THERE IS AN ATTACK

“Submit yourself, then, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from
you.” – JAMES 4:7

o I will not give in to the temptation of this world.

STAND FIRM AGAINST YOURSELF

 Eight pieces of advice:

 Take off what you used to be.

 Get rid of lies.
 When angry, do not sin.
 Do not give the devil a foothold.
 Make restitution for the wrong that you have done.
 Watch your mouth.
 Keep the holy spirit in mind.
 Watch your temper.

o The only way to be truly free is by renewing our minds through the word
of God.

TO DEPEND COMPLETELY ON GOD

“David: The LORD is my light and my salvation whom shall, I fear?

The LORD is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?”– PSALMS 27:2

o The success that we have in our life is based on my ability to daily

depend on God.

TO BE A MIGHTY WARRIOR

“Believing in the purpose of God.”

o When God looks at me, he sees the purpose he has prepared for me and
that is what changes my destiny.
o God sees the image in advance in us.

TO OBTAIN VICTORY

“for everyone born of God  overcomes the world. This is the victory that
has overcome the world, even our faith.” – 1 JOHN 5:4

o We remain victorious.
o We will obtain the victory because he transforms my weakness into
strength.
o Young is given but amazing is not given it is a matter of choice.

TO SERVE OTHERS

“We do not adjust our service we adjust our schedule to accommodate our
commitment.”

o How you do things reflects your character.

o Service must commit in prayer.
o Our service mu filled with strategy.
o Service is an expression of thanksgiving to God.
o I will follow Jesus’s example and serve others.

o What does he get in return, for doing this every day?

o … He won’t appear on tv.
o … Still anonymous.

o But what he receives are emotions… he witnesses happiness.
