Hundreds of police killings triggered by Philippine
President Rodrigo Duterte’s murderous anti-drugs campaign
continue to rage on, destroying lives and devastating
communities. People are mourning, yet there isn’t justice at all.
United Nations must hold an authority when it comes to this
situation. There are some innocent lives, police intensified
tokhang operations and produced a record number of killings in
a matter of days. These numbers are alarming and yet our
president is still silent about it. Such cases should go first
through court process but the police are getting rid of the
criminals by their own hands which are clearly against the
human rights. Duterte must be accountable for the worsening
human rights violations that are taking place across the country.
