 Threaded Process Connections Mounting Set

Seals, and especially gaskets (aseptic
version), must be replaced periodically.
The time between replacement depends
heavily on the cleaning intervals as well
as the fluid temperature and the clean-

When fitting the process connections,

Replacement does not require
additional tools but must only be carried
out by trained and qualified personnel.
the O-ring or gasket is to be fully
pressed into the seal groove of the
1" thread adapter.
The union nut is tightened right to the
stop.

The following should be noted when

mounting the process connections or
when replacing seals:
• Only one process connection is to be
undone from the sensor at any one
time. This ensures a secure fit with the
opposite sensor face when remoun-
ting.
• Seals and process connections must
be free of dirt and centred when
mounting.
• The four screws are to be tightened
with the required torque (see table).
The process connection forms a
metallic connection with the sensor
to ensure a defined seal compression.
