How Photosynthesis work in plants

Photosynthesis is the process of making or forming food carried out by plants substances, with
the help of sunlight energy. This process works by combining light, carbon dioxide, and water to
make sugar or glucose and other chemical compounds. The process is happen in the leafs that
have a green pigment called chlorophyll
The process of photosynthesis occurs when chlorophyll in leaves captures sunlight and uses it
to convert water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen.
Photosynthesis reactions can be divided into two based on how they work
The first, The light reaction is a photolysis reaction that splits water (H2O) into hydrogen and
oxygen ions with the help of sunlight. This reaction occurs in the part of the chloroplast called
the grana. In addition to producing oxygen, the light reactions also produce ATP and NADPH2 as
a source of energy needed in the dark reactions.

And the second one is The dark reaction is a continuation reaction after the light reaction. The
dark reaction is a fixation reaction that binds carbon dioxide and combines it with hydrogen
resulting from the photolysis of the light reaction. The reaction that takes place in the
chloroplast called the stroma uses energy in the form of ATP and NADPH2 from the light
reactions. The dark reactions produce energy in the form of simple carbohydrates.
And that is how photosynthesis work,
Photosynthesis is an important process, because it has many benefits, like producing oxygen in
the air so we can use it to breathe, absorbing carbon dioxide for air purification and the plant
can produce carbohydrates then plant can use as energy and produce our carbohydrate meal,
for examples like corn, potato vegetable or fruits and the other. So we can conclude that
Photosynthesis take a big part in the environment and ecosystem.
