MERGE OF THE GANYMEDE LIBERTY PACT

AND THE YUZIER ASCENDANCY

AGREEMENT

By agreement of both parties, the Ganymede Liberty Pact and the Yuzier Ascendancy are to merge within a
confederation of a single federated state, in which both parties hold equal value considering the other. The current
ruling class of the Ganymede Liberty Pact will retain their positions and join the confederated council of the
Ascendancy as equals, with equal measures to consider themselves part of the same collective.

By this agreement, the merged parties will become the Rift Ascendancy- all current Ganymede installations and
planets will remain in control of the Ganymede leadership, and further promotions and colonies will remain in the
hands of the Ganymede partnership, to be referred in this document as the Sol Partner.

Alongside this, the Yuzier, referred to as the Inner Partner, will keep control of all of it’s current holdings, and any
further holdings will be split evenly between the two.

DIPLOMACY

In the Rift Ascendancy, diplomatic discussions will be lead by the current appointed Diplomatic Council of the Main
Council. They will provide reasonings and obtain agreements before conducting any major actions – but, for this
document, their involvement will be different based on the location.

SOL DIPLOMACY

In the Sol region, any diplomacy directly impacting the Rift Ascendancy’s Sol Partner must be agreed upon by the
council from both sides – as well, if the Sol Partner desires to make diplomatic moves within the sector that may
impact the Inner Partner’s dealings, it also must be agreed upon by both sides.

OUTER SYSTEM DIPLOMACY

Any diplomacy with outer region swill be handled by the Diplomatic Council, with agreement from the majority of
the Main Council – it does not need an agreement from both sides, simply a majority of the council in general.

RESEARCH

Research will be handled by the Research Council, with agreements from the majority of the Main Council agreeing
on the desired Research Objectives – all current research is to be shared between both sides to equalize the
technology between both Partners.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

Research Objectives can be requested by majority vote to the Main Council – to ensure that our research is spent
of projects of worthwhile effort. If in specific circumstances, a Partner may request specific focus on a project – if
there is no specific circumstance to prevent it, they may use their research labs to do so, in situations where the
research is of importance for their continued survival or growth.

WAR

In circumstances where an offensive action is being considered, both partners are given right to remove their ships
from the offensive force – a majority agreement must be reached if it is done, but a partner must specifically state
their intentions to do so – if they do not, their consent for their ships to be used in the offensive action is
considered given.
In Defensive actions, where the enemy is currently assaulting the Rift Ascendancy, or planning to do so, a partner
cannot refuse the use of their ships – the protection of the entire Ascendancy is more important.

WAR COUNCIL

The War Council will be in control of all military matters, and will lead the fleets of both partners. If there is two or
more within the council, one of each partner, they are given the ships of their side to manage and control. If only
one partner has someone within the War Council, a majority vote of the other partner may veto offensive actions
with their ships.

COLONIZATION

For the consideration of both partners, in the event of colonization efforts, both partners are expected to share
colonizable planets. If a planet is colonized by one partner, the next available planet is offered to the other first –
who may accept or refuse it. If it is refused, the second partner is given first rights of colonization of capable
planets until the balance is met.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

These are the considerations laid out – and may be expanded upon or changed after signature. All previous
agreements written on this page are set in stone, without full approval from 80% of the Rift Ascendancy pact.
More may be added below this line, with a majority vote.

HUMAN ASCENDANCY

The medical technology of the Yuzier will be freely offered to all new Rift Ascendancy members, prosthetics and
implants for those who wish.

SWORN PACT

Upon the agreement of this contact, it is held that neither side, nor their members, will betray or act against the
agreements within this – to do so, or to attempt to splinter unlawfully, will be considered treason.
