contamination and foreign objects
Remove/install
1 Open engine hood
2 Loosen bolts (1)
3 Lift up upper section of air filter housing (2)
4 Take out air cartridge (3) Removal: Turn the air filter by approx. 80°
counterclockwise out of the catch (4).
Installation: Turn the air filter by approx.
80° clockwise into the catch (4). Check that it is
seated securely.
Installation: Install a new air filter element
(3); do not clean.
Clean
5 Clean inside of air filter housing top section (2)
and air filter housing bottom section
6 Install in the reverse order
