Try not to fully open the throttle, nor riding at the same speed for quite a long time. In the beginning period, the worked surfaces of relative movement parts touch each other and soon worn out, therefore, maintenance should be made after 300km riding for the purpose to compensate the slight loss of friction. Which ensures the engine works at the best state and the performance excellent. Cae Lee NOTE: Riding properly prolongs the life of the engine. Keep riding at the speed of 40 km/h or less for a ew motorcycle at the first 1000 km. Don't accelerate “the engine too haste. METHOD OF RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE NOTE: This model of motorcycle is fixed with ‘gearbox of five-gear rotating transmission mechanism, which makes the transmission from the top gear to the null position. There are two model of gearbox: 5 gear cycle and § gear acylic CAUTION: When shift gears, the throttle has to be releasedand closed, otherwise, such devices, as ‘engine parts, transmission chain and others are likely to be damaged. 4, Inspection should be made according to the items specified before riding. 2. When the motorcycle moves in a stable state and the speed is up to recommended speed, release the throttle grip to lower down the speed of the engine, grasp the clutch lever, hitch the shift lever to the higher position (second) and accelerate again 7. The same procedure is suitable to change into ‘other much higher position, in turn, e.g. shift fem second to third, from third to fourth, from fourth ote (fifth. : 8. Shifting down from top to low be accomplished by hitch the shift lever with the left tiptoe, from top ito fourth, third, second, neutral, low in sequence. ds - RSA, Speed recommended at the certain gear position: First gear:0~20km/h Second gear:10~40km/h Third gear:15~60km/h Fourth gear:20~80km/h Fifth gear: 30-0km/h ‘SGear, Cycle 5 Gear, Acylic OPERATION OF BRAKING 1. When trying to reduce the speed, release the throttle grip firstly, and then gradually apply both the rear and front brakes while shifting down to suit your road speed. This is for normal braking. 2. Operate both front and rear brakes decidedly at the same time to ensure the effectiveness of braking in the urgent instance. CREO PENN eA This method is only used in emergent case. If strongly enough to lock the wheel, braking effectiveness will be reduced and control of the motorcycle may be dificult. The best choice is to close the throttle first and pedal the rear brake and then grasp the handle brake lever for front brake to make a safe stopping. NING: | only operate single brake either front or rear "brake; itwon't bring about better result. Sudden | braking of the front or the rear brake makes the cycle out of control while the either wheel locked. Therefore, try best not to braking suddenly. Before turning around, operate the braking first j reduce the speed. Sudden braking when turning und causes side off and makes the motorcycle jut of control. When riding in rainy season, slippery, runny, Joose, or on uneven road, the performance decreases. So itis not suitable to ride at the operation must be calm, sudden ing or turning must be avoidable. J im e PEER eoce A Special attention has to ‘braking, accelerating, decelerating or - steering. a Riding on a long slope-down road, It Is suggested riding at lower speed to make use of the engine brake. Hence, do not operate the brakes for a long time, or the brakes become hot to reduce the effect of braking. sxDo not keep half brake(grasp the brake lever or step the brake pedal); In other words, don't operate the brake unless you intend to brake. This will cause excessive brake wear and damage, and lead to loss of the brakes through overheating. Continuous brake application can overheat the brakes and reduce their effectiveness. The brake light may also confuse other drivers simultaneously. PARKING 1. After stopping, turn the ignition switch to “ (%)” position, lock the steering, and then take out the key for being on your guard against theft 2.
