Last weekend, my friends and I decided to watch a football match at one of my friend’s
house. We moved the TV to the backyard so we could sit on the grass while we enjoyed
the match. I hurriedly sat on the grass and for a moment thought my sacral bone had
broken into two, due to the sharp pain I felt after sitting on a tiny piece of rock. I let out a
very loud scream that made one of my friend’s body spasm violently and on realizing
what had happened, he made a joke that even his newly born sibling with spina bifida
occulta could not cry out that loud. The joke was never funny to me.
