Teachers Day Script

Nor: Teachers are not necessarily present only in schools. Everyone around us teaches something or the
other. The greatest of all teachers is ‘life’ that teaches us the art of survival.

Gretel: Parents are our prime most teachers. Our friends, nature, animals, our mistakes, everything is a
teacher in some form or the other. Today is the day to honor all of them.

Nor: Good day, Avanceñans! (Lively)

Nor: Welcome to the virtual celebration of National Teachers’ Month with a theme “Gurong Filipino:
Katuwang sa Hamon, Kasama sa Pagbangon”. I am Nor Asiah Abbas the Supreme Student Government
Grade 9 Representative

Gretel: And I am Gretel Valeza the SSG Secretary, and we are the ladies of ceremony for today’s event!

Wait for 3 seconds

Gretel: May we request everybody to please rise to express our patriotism as we sing the National
Anthem.

Nor: Please remain standing. Let us all feel the presence of Almighty God by the Christian and Muslim
prayers to be led by Francheska Joson and Junaid Pundoma.

Nor: Again, a pleasant morning to each and every one of us. To start this program, may we call on our
pretty and humble SSG President, Ms. Mahamae Musa as she will be delivering her opening remarks.
Let’s give her virtual round of applause.

gretel: Thank you, Ms. Musa. And of course this program will definitely not complete without the
presence of our ever supportive and energetic principal, Mr. Danilo B. Estavillo to give us his

Avancenans, Sit back and brace yourselves, as we’ll witness the intermission number to be performed by
SSG Public Information Officer, Ms. Haniah Khalid. Ms. Haniah, the stage is now yours.

Nor: Ayon mukhang buhay pa nga ang mga avancenans, dahil jan, mag patuloy na tayo, Gretel.
Gretel: Finally! the long wait is over, I would like to call the Vice President of SSG, Ms. Hazel Mae Sawit,
for the introduction of all the exciting activities that we will be having for the month of september as we
celebrate the teacher’s month,

Gretel: Thank you very much, Ms. Sawit for introducing those activities with full of joy.

Nor: Before we bid our goodbyes, I just want to say that we are very thankful to host this event, Im
