Please explore and describe the following points:

1.Define what is an administrative assistant or secretary. Please also describe the difference
between them
Answer : Administrative assistants and secretaries are people who help high-ranking officials of
a company or institution. An administrative assistant is a worker who performs administrative
tasks and is technical in the nature of administration in an agency or company. The secretary is
an employee who has duties relating to confidential matters of the company.

Difference:

A secretary is a person whose job is very powerful. A secretary must perform such work as
typing and copying dictations, attending telephones and fixing appointments. Administrative
assistants have more tasks to perform than secretaries. The work of an administrative assistant is
far above the work of the clergy

2. What are the qualifications that a secretary or an administrative assistant needs to have?
Answer : The qualification of a good secretary or administrative assistant?

-Be dedicated to the organization and its goals

-Have a propensity/tendency for hard work
