and ethical counsellor and how in a counselling session , the counsellor addresses all the agendas of
therapy from attending to silencing.

We discussed what about what skills a counsellor requires and how can one learn them.
WE were taught about the main agenda of any counselling session and how a counsellor
successfully goes through all the points in the process of ethical counselling.

Stress management and JPMR conduction
We were asked to go through the videos of the lecture and conduct JPMR on a subject using
the techniques we learnt and write about our experience in a report.

LEARNING OF THE DAY

We learnt about what distress and eustress are and how one can manage stress. We learnt how
to combat stress as a counsellor. We learned what JPMR technique is, we also learned how to
conduct it through an elaborate live demonstration session.
