1 Fault Symptom
The phone has no display after startup.
2. Troubleshooting
(1) Visual inspection shows that the PCBA has no cosmetic defects and BTB connectors are not
damaged or poorly soldered.
(2) Use the multimeter to measure the peripheral components of J1701. Results show that the ground
impedance of T1701–T1705 is 485, which is a normal value, and the ground impedance of J1701's
pin 39 is 525.
(3) Measurements using the multimeter show that the voltage of C1723 (LCD_VSP) is 5.5 V, C1724
(LCD_VSN) 5.5 V, which are both normal. This indicates that U1702 is normal and not the cause.
Further measurements using the multimeter reveal that the voltage of C1719 (VOUT4_1V85)
voltage is 1.85 V. Install the LCD and use ComPartner to perform a single-point test with the
screen turned on: Use the multimeter to measure the voltage of C1703 (LED+). The result is 4.3
V, which should be 24 V in normal conditions. Therefore, the boost voltage chip U1701 may be
faulty. Use the multimeter to measure the peripheral ground impedance of U1701. No exception is
found. Initial inspection reveals that J1701 is defective, resulting in the boost voltage failure.
