Third Phase:

1- Engine is running without

hydraulic movement.
2- Oil from pump goes to
right side of the flow
control spool.
3- Pressure difference is
observed between the two
Cut-Off Spool ends of the control valve is
equal to 300 PSI.
4- Pressure pump overcome
the pressure of the load
pressure and the setting of
the standby spring.
4- Flow control spool moves
to the left side against the
spring.
5- A path is open between
Down stroke the pump and the bias
Position piston.
Flow Control Spool 6- Bias piston is moved
downward.
7- The pump is down
stroking until standby
pressure is observed.
8- The difference between
phase 2 and 3, that phase 2
is down stroking quickly
due to the huge pressure
difference from maximum
swash plate angle to the
minimum and phase 3 is
Margin Pressure= down stroking slowly, and
Pp-Pl=300 PSI the similarity is both are
down stroking.
9- The standby spring is
fluctuating back and forth
due to instability nature of
the damping system and
RPM of the engine.
