 There + to be: haver / existir

Formação: There + verbo to be (present / past tenses)

There to be é usado para indicar a existência de alguém ou de

alguma coisa.
Ex.: There is a pretty girl in that room.
There are some eggs in the box.

Present Tense

Singular: There is (há, existe)

Plural: There are (Há, existem)

Past Tense

Singular: There was (havia, existia)

Plural: There were (havia, existiam)
