GPX files cannot be opened on a computer unless you have software installed that can read GPX files. The free software EasyGPS can
read the files but only save them as GPX files. You can also use this software to edit the GPX files.

If your unit does not import GPX files directly, you need to use software to convert the GPX to a format compatible with your unit.
It is best to use software provided by your GPS unit’s manufacturer. You can also use the free GPSBabel software to convert files.
You will also need an SDTM card that is the correct size & format for your unit. See our FAQ page for tips.
