Community-Based Disaster Risk
Reduction Management (CBDRRM) is a RESILIENT
way of analysing risks and conducting LINGIG
DRRM that both originates from, and is
organized by, local communities. The key
for successful CBDRRM lies in
maintaining interest in and motivation for
DRR/CCA at the community level, and
incorporating CBDRRM approaches at
the national policy level.
