Rationale for using technology

In answering the following questions, make sure to include relevant keywords or quotes from the
reading/viewing materials. When citing an in-text reference, use the Author-Date format (e.g.,
Ubaldo, 2017). I would be looking for the concepts discussed in the reading/mentioned in the
videos, hence set them in bold if would type in MS Word or underline them if you would handwrite
it.
1. Why is there a need to use technology in your field of specialization, e.g. English, Math, Values
Education (refer to pp. 35-38)? Please provide concrete examples to illustrate or
justify your point.
2. Imagine yourself as a school teacher in the biggest public high school in your locality. As a
future educator, what are the challenges/issues that may affect the use of technology for
education based on your current experience as a digital learner amidst the pandemic? How can
you possibly help protect your future students from the dangers of the digital world? (please refer
to Table 3, p. 24-25, also please see p. 20)
