Vienna Airport is in the middle of Europe
and therefore important for all destinati-
ons, especially in Middle und Eastern
Europe. The airport is also a major
employer in eastern Austria. In the past
years 20.000 people worked at the
Vienna Airport in over 230 companies.
To be up to standard of a modern air-
port, the construction activities steadily
grew in the past years. The area bet-
ween the Airest catering building and
the Austrian building had to be recon-
structed. An old ACO S150 channel was
