Individual assignment 2 is one student one paper; (not pair; not team)
Topic: create a final version of your own unique entrepreneurial business idea using Business
Model Canvas (BMC) as a frame. If you provided a presentation for Assignment One, then you
can either create a new business idea or use material from your presentation.
Key Points:
1. *** The entire paper should focus specifically on the details of your unique business
idea (for each BMC section);
2. *** Do not use document/paper space to write definitions/explanations/theory on
the general meaning of each of the BMC nine segments (this was already done in
Assignment 1);
3. *** Be sure to detail, defend and specifically explain your Value Proposition: what is it
that is unique and differentiates your business from the competition (just saying
“lower price”; “higher quality”; “better customer service”; “promptness”; does not
indicate or confirm uniqueness as most business claim these basic values. Specifically,
how will you be different/unique in a way that draws customers?;
4. *** From Assignment 1 do not include the BMC section theory explanations; Do build
upon/improve your specific business ideas for those four segments (value proposition;
customer segments/relations/channels) and integrate them into the full nine segment
BMC of Assignment 2;
5. *** Be persuasive: sell/pitch your idea to the reader!
