EVENT INFORMATION
Entry Conditions

Number entries/fees & qualifying times:

 Entries are due Tuesday, May 17th 2022.
 Entries MUST be submitted using Team Manager or Team Manager Lite Free Version (for information on
TMlite please refer to http://www.hy-tekltd.com/Updates/TM_Lite.pdf)
 Each swimmer is allowed to swim 6 individual events and 2 relays.
 Meet entry fee is 500THB per swimmer.
 Entry times are required for all entries to ensure quality racing for all competitors. We ask that coaches
provide accurate times in events where QT’s are not required and a swimmer may not have an official time
available, rather than entering with NT.
 Where events have a QT, athletes may enter with a slower time, but only results that are equal to or faster
than the QT will be eligible for points/placings.
 Entry times are LC only, and any SC entries must be converted.
 Send entries to: cpike@bisphuket.ac.th

Additional Entries or changes:

 No changes to events on the meet day to accommodate extra swimmers/relays. Please double check your
entries prior to the deadline.
 Final team numbers must be received by Tuesday May 17th, and Invoices will be issued based on these
team numbers, regardless of attendance on meet day. No additional swimmers can be added after that time.
 Event or Swimmer scratches will be allowed up to Monday May 23rd, 12noon, at which point entries will be
final and heats seeded. Any changes after this point may not be processed, or reflected in the Meet Program
and Heat/Lane allocations.
 Relay entries must be received with Individual event entries. Additional relays may be added until Friday
May 20th provided there is space in existing heats.
 Relay names need to be confirmed no later than the start of the session in which they are being swum.
 Only the top finishing relay team from each Swim Team in relay events will score points and placings.
 Any no show for an event will be considered a scratch and the event will be run as scheduled.

Rules:
 FINA Rules apply, except for the modified false start rule for all 10/U events and mixed gender heats, as
below:
o Modified False Start rule for 10/U events - 1st false start, charged to field (all swimmers return to
the start and reset); second false start, swimmer disqualified (the race continues and is not
stopped, and the swimmer will be informed upon their completion).
o Mixed Gender Heats – Individual events will be swum as mixed gender heats (boys and girls
combined), and results collated by gender and age-group. Finals will then be swum separately by
age group and gender.
 FINA Rules will be upheld and applied by Qualified TASA Officials. In the event of a dispute or protest,
formal protocols will apply and be advised prior to the meet.
 Age groups are based on age as of May 28th 2022.
 Swimmers must be enrolled in a recognized Primary or Secondary school.
 Coaches please attend the coaches meeting Saturday May 28th prior to the session starting for any
clarification of rules.

Marshalling:
 Coaches/Swimmers are responsible for listening for the race call up & sending their swimmers. Individual
names will not be called. We will not make any extra announcements for missing swimmers/relays.
 Only swimmers and coaches may go to the marshalling area.
 We will mark swimmers as No Show if they do not get to the marshalling area on time.

Seating:
 Seating will be provided for each team based on team size of swimmers and coaches.
 Parents and Supporters will not be allowed to share the Team Area space, and will be provided with seating

 The 25m short course pool will also be made available at different times during the meet for swimming.
