Bangun Nusantara (UVBN) in Sukoharjo. I have been teaching
in English Department since September 2009.
Description The English Department was officially opened in 2006. The
English Department is one of the study programs at Teacher
Training and Education Faculty of UVBN.
The English Ddepartment lies on the 2nd floor of building E.
Previously the English Departmen office was on the 2nd floor
of building C.
There are 10 lecturers and 1 administrative officer in English
Department. Today’s Head of English Department is Mrs. Arin
Arianti, M.Pd, while the secretary of English Department is
Mrs. Ratih Wijayava, M.Hum.
If you go up to the 2nd floor of building E, just turn left and
you will find the English Department lecturer’s room in the
second row. You will find a name plank hanging above the
door.
As soon as you open the door, on the left there is the
administrative clerk's desk. There is a desk and a set of
computers and printer on that table. Beside the admin desk,
there is Mrs. Vero, M.Pd's desk. Those two tables are on the
south side. For your information, the desk in the English
lecturer's office is arranged in the shape of the letter U.
Meanwhile on the west, there are 3 tables. The first is Dr.
Nunun’s desk, near Mrs. Vero's desk. The second is Mrs.
Nurnaningsih, S.Pd., M.A., M.Pd's table and the third is mine.
On the north side there are also 3 tables. The first is Mrs.
Arumi, M.Hum's desk near my desk. The second is Mrs. Indri,
M.Hum's table and the last is Dr. Singgih’s table. We put a set
of guest tables in the middle of the English lecturer's room.
The office of English Department consists of two rooms. The
first (front) is the lecturer's room that I described earlier. The
second room is for the head of English department and the
secretary of English Department.
Our new room is smaller than our old room. But we felt
comfortable and started to adapt to our new office in E
building.
