Front Office Individual Performance HeartBeat tracker
Summary
Utilise HeartBeat to analyse your individual Front Office team members’ performance allowing
you to recognize high achievers and coach those in need of improvement.
Implementation
1. Download the “Front Office Individual HeartBeat Tracker”
2. Update the template with your Front Office team member names
3. Set up a process to review your HeartBeat scores daily to update the tracker. (note: this
could be a task performed by the night team if they have spare capacity)
• Log in to HeartBeat to review completed surveys for the day.
• Record all check in and check out scores for completed surveys along with the
check in and check out date and room number in the FO HeartBeat tracker.
• Using your Property Management System (e.g. Opera) to check who performed
the check in and check out and record this in the FO HeartBeat Tracker.
• Communicate the received scores to the relevant team members when next on
shift.
• Celebrate high scores during handover
• For low scores ask your team members to come back to you with reasons for the
score. Discuss the reasons and advise on what could have been done better.
Discuss similar cases or challenges and how they can be approached better in the
future (coaching)
• Update the guest profile with any comments that will alert to potential issues
the guest may have had upon next stay so you can actively improve the guest
stay.
4. Record your HeartBeat scores prior to implementation and continue to record it to track
impact of this idea.
