Descends into the secret world of espionage to probe the pivotal role that
science and technology have played in providing information about the nation's
political adversaries on the 25th anniversary of the Cuban missile crisis. The U-2
was one of the earliest and most celebrated of high-flying machines, becoming
known to the world when one was shot down deep inside the Soviet Union in
1960. By then planes had penetrated Russian air space many times to
photograph top military targets. Epsiode Description

Repeating Fields
Many of the fields in PBCore can be repeated to store multiple values. This is easier for both a user
and a machine to understand than a list of all of the terms smooshed into one field. For instructions
on how to handle repeating fields, see below.
If a field is repeatable, it will say so in the tool tip that appears when you hover over the column
header.
By expressing the hierarchy of PBCore fields in a spreadsheet, we have to find work arounds to make
sure that releated fields are kept together. To do this, we number repeated fields, for example, Title1
and Title1 Type, Title2 and Title2 Type. This helps us ensure that the correct Title Type gets matched
with the correct Title.
To add a repeated field, you need to insert a column next to the already existing field. In most
spreadsheet programs, you need to highlight the column to the right of where you want your new
column, then right click and select insert column. You then need to name the new columns and
rename the original column. So, if you had Description and Description Type fields, but you wanted to
have two descriptions for one asset, you would need to add 2 new columns next to Description and
Description Type. Then you would rename all of these columns to be: Description1 | Description1
Type | Description2 | Description2 Type.
Fields that indicate the type of another value, like Title Type, Date Type, and Description Type, can
only be repeated with the corresponding value. For example, you can have 2 Title fields, each with
their own Title Type field, but you can't have 1 Title field with 2 Title Types.
Fields that indicate where another value originated, like Identifier Source, Genre Vocabulary Used,
and Subject Vocabulary Used, can only be repeated with the corresponding value. For example, you
can have 2 Subject fields, each with their own Subject Authority Used field, but you can't have 1
Subject field with 2 Subject Authority Used fields.
Unlike Type and Source fields (see above), Role fields, like Creator Role, Contributor Role, and
Publisher Role, can be repeated independently of the corresponding value. For example, you can have
1 Creator with multiple Roles [Creator: Smith, Joe | Creator Role 1: Director | Creator Role 2:
Producer].
