The SCHÖNN range of med cal gas l ne ball valve assembl es s suppl ed for use n plant rooms and for solat ng
areas where zone serv ce un ts are unnecessary.

Type V Valve Assembl es

Type V valve assembl es ncorporate a br ght n ckel plated brass body, manufactured n two strong, well
proport oned valves to prov de an effect ve seal under pressure. A sl d ng lock ng mechan sm s fitted to the handle
wh ch can be locked us ng a standard padlock w th a 6mm (1/4”) d ameter shackle. Su table padlocks can be
suppl ed as requ red.
The ball s manufactured from brass w th a chrome plated fin sh.
The thermal nsulated sta nless steel handle s both v brat on and shock res stant. The valve body s spec ally
fin shedto ncorporateparallel threads wh chaccommodate match ngadaptors. Sta nlesssteel ‘Dowty’ bonded
seals are fitted between each adaptor and the valve body to form an efffect veseal.

Type VF valve assembl es ncorporate a br ght n ckel plated brass body manufactured n three strong, well
proport oned p eces wh ch are bolted together to prov de an effect ve seal under pressure.
The ball s manufactured from brass w th a chrome plated fin sh.
The wh te pa nted operat ng lever s manufactured n galvan zed steel and s both v brat on and shock res stant. The
ball valve body ncorporates flanged fitt ng s wh care bolted to flanged ed sub-assembl es ncorporat copper stub
p pes. Sta nless steel bolts, nuts and spr ng washers and 3mm th ck V ton rubber gaskets are used n the nstallat on.
The copper stub p pes enable the assembly to be brazed d rect nto the d str but on system.
