Hi. My name’s John, and I want to tell you about what happened to me last week. I was walking
downtown when I saw a woman running in the street. She was about 30 years old and had blond
hair. She was about 5 feet tall. She looked scared. Behind her was a young man who was running
after her. I didn´t know what to do. There was a policeman on the corner, but I don´t trust policemen,
so I just walked quickly towards (hacia) the woman to see if I could help her. By the time I got to
where the woman was, the boy was next to her. He took something from her hand and called the
policeman.

Later I found out that the woman was a thief. She had taken the young man´s money, and he was
running after her to get it back. I was wrong because I thought the young man was going to hurt her.
The policeman talked to her and took her away in his police car. I don’t know what happened after
that.
