Travelogue at Bolos Point Gattaran, Cagayan

It was an unforgettable journey because it brought me joy and sealed in my

heart and mind memories that are hard to let go. Traveling back to the place where I

once grew up creates intense excitement. Come and let's travel to the place where my

mother was born, it is at Bolos Point in Gattaran Cagayan.

At Bolos Point I start to think. When I was a child, my parents raised me with my

grandparents who lived in this area. They took care of me with my

aunts and uncles until the day came when I went to kindergarten there.

But soon my parents also took me with them, and since then, we have

only been able to visit there on holidays.

This place is not easy to reach because the sea is the only way to get there. Bolos

Point is part of Gattaran but only Santa Ana can be passed

before reaching the area. You first need to travel to San

Vicente of Santa Ana and then you need to take a boat to

get to Bolos Point. Eight hours will be allotted on the trip

to the area while aboard the Boat. So you can also see the

beautiful sea for eight hours, but if your resistance is low, you may feel dizzy and vomit.
 When you come to this place, you will see the beautiful view of Bolos Point. Tall

coconut trees and the households. But before you can get down and step on the sand, you

must first meet the strong waves where the river and sea water meet together or what they

call "minanga". The boat passengers have to get off here so that they can get off the area

properly.

Bolos Point has a very beautiful view. Your problem may disappear when you stare

at this place. You will be amazed at its beauty and your chaotic mind will run smoothly.

Bolos Point has many beautiful baths which your family can enjoy when you have a picnic.

Because Bolos Point is surrounded by the sea, fishing is the main livelihood of the people. It

is very fun to fish here because the people who fish help each other. What they call "Daklis"

which is a method of fishing is the easiest way to catch fish. Whether young or old can take

part in it, with the help of pulling the line it is a big help to get so many fish. And eventually,

they can share it to them.

Bolos Point is a good place to visit especially for families who want to experience a moment

of peace. Although it is not as popular as other attractions, I am proud of its beauty. I’m sure

people who haven’t been here will love it, It’s so much more beautiful in person than just

seen in the photos. Because of the fresh air it contains, the loneliness you feel can be relieved.

My experience at Bolos Point was the best memory that will never fade from my mind. I will

never forget it even if I can only take a vacation here once because maybe this is one of the

places where I once grew up and it has brought me fond memories.

Realization:
My realization in my trip to the Bolos Point area is the thought that our country is more

natural with beautiful scenery and natural resources that should be more enjoyed especially

by the Filipinos because it still brings different pleasure. Our own natural resources are really

impressive so it's no wonder why many tourists come back and forth to our country because

"It's more fun in the Philippines"

It is also a realization that sticks in my mind that even if you only go to a place once if it is

one that produces good memories it will not be immediately forgotten. It becomes memories

that you can carry into your old age and memories you can go back to when you experience a

problem.
