Follow the stops below for unpacking and setup your unit
STEP‘, Remove unit rom carton and inspect.
STEP2. Remove aocessorie rom drain bucket
STEP. Install Roll Casters (D25BNP modal only) per
instalation instructions below,
STEP. Setupunitinpostion with adequate clearance. Installation
of units complete,

STEP‘, Locate Rol Castes removed during STEP 2 above
STEP2. Lay uit onits side for ease of instalation.
STEPS, Insert Roll Gastersin los as shown (See Figure 3) until they
cick ito place.

heat resistant surface, Make sure there is nothing flammable
heat sensitive within 39 inches. Operating th product in

When Bucket Full Lamp Is On
\When the drain buckets ful, the Bueket Full lamp wililuinate andthe
nit stop operating, The dain bucket should be caefuly removed from
the unit by siding outwards (See Figure 6) and should be epted. Then
place the omy drain bucket back fois proper position, (See Figure 7)

Defrost
When the unit is operated in low temperatures (less than 54 °F
the surface ofthe evaporator wil accumate a layer of frost which wil
‘reduce the efficiency of tha debumider. Whan this happens the untill go
into perocic defrost mode automaticaly. The Detost Lamp wl iluminale
‘on contol pane, this uit normal (See Figure 7)
‘The dehumicifir wil operate in temperatures downto 41 °F. The ime it
takes to defrost may vary the unit freezes upitshould be tuned off atthe
‘power supply fra few hours and then related. the room temperature
‘emai below 41°F the unt shouldbe suitchedoft itis notrecommended
to use the dehumidifier in tamperatures bolow 41 °F.

To save having to periodical empty the drain bucket, this unit can be
canfgued for contnuos drainage You can use th supplied erin hose
to connect to the continuous drainage connector (See Figure 18).

Remove the soft rubber stopper. Putitniothe dain bucket for safekeeping
(Gee Figure 19)
Insect the dain hose through the hole ofthe drain cover, Then connect the
ran hase tothe drain port (See Figure 20),

When using the function of continuous drainage, the drain hose must be
paced horizntaly below the drainage hole (See Figue 23),

Continuous Drainage using Built-In Pump
(D50BPA / D70BPA models only)
Installation:
‘STEP 1. — Connect the supplied water hose to the drainage key.
SSTEP2, Connect the drainage key and water hose (1) tothe drain pump
‘let (2) onthe rear panel
SSTEP3, Lead the other end toa sultable locaton for drainage, tke a
tan or sink and insert the plug into the water drain
The maximum distance and he rise may be 15 from the unt. Exceeding
this distance may damage the unit or cause leaks. When the unit's dain
bucket capacity reaches a certain water level, twill rain automatically
(See Figure 2)
Dismantle:
Press the drain release button (3) onthe unit rear panel. The automatic
drainage key wil pul out (See Figure 24,

The rubber drain plug must be inserted in the
continuous drainage outlet (4) for builtin pump
feature to work.
Removing the rubber drain plug will cause the
‘condensation to exit through the continuous
drainage outlet instead of the drain pump outlet.MAINTENANCE

dato of orginal purchase. FRIEDRICH will repai the product at no charge, provided the product is transported to a Friedrich
‘Authorizes Service Center for repair. ALL transportation charges are the sole responsibly f the owner. Ths remedy is expressly
