Introduction:

Cybersecurity in modern society is such an important matter of discussion because it


protects all categories of data from theft and damage. This includes sensitive data, private
personal information, protected health information, intellectual property, data, and
governmental and industry information systems. Without a cybersecurity program,
organizations cannot defend themselves against data breaches, making these an easy target
for hackers and cyber attacks. Taking into account the huge impact cybersecurity has had in
actual times, not only affecting the citizens of each nation, but entire governments, meaning
harm to international relationships between nations. As the Security Council, we are
required to take actions to mitigate these breaches that put at risk worldwide security.

Preambulatory clauses:

Deeply conscious of the fast-evolving and growing online society and the dangers it carries,
Fully regretting previous cyberattacks from a foreign nation to another,
Noting with satisfaction the technological advances in terms of cyber security until now,
Having considered the dangers of online misinformation,
Acknowledging the lack of awareness and understanding is making users more vulnerable
to cyberattack such as deceptions, theft of sensitive information, malwares, phishing,
identity theft, fuzzing, harassment, theft of intellectual property,
Fully aware of the illicit commerce of illegal products and services in unauthorized internet
websites,
Acknowledging the vulnerability of the nations to all kind of cyberattacks,
Having examined the propaganda on the internet which instigates the citizens to take part of
illicit acts or groups,

Operative clauses:
1. Authorizes the AI services and programs to verify the veracity of information
found online to avoid crimes such as deceptions, theft of sensitive information,
malwares, phishing, identity theft, fuzzing, harassment, theft of intellectual
property;
2. Proclaims economic sanctions that will go up to 0.5% of the GDP of the country
responsible for the cyberattack;
3. Also authorizes the AI services and programs to predict and prevent cyberattacks
from foreigners that represent a threat to the country's well being;
4. Invites the signatory nations, such as Syrian Arab Republic, People's Republic of
China, United States of America, The Republic of India, United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Northern Ireland, Republic of France and the Republic of the Russian
Federation; and also the international community to make campaigns and courses to
share vital information about the dangers of the internet and measures to prevent
frequent cyber crimes like harassment, frauds and scams,
5. Recommends schools from the international community to implement a new
subject in schools about cybersecurity in order to prevent deceptions, theft of
sensitive information, malwares, phishing, identity theft, fuzzing, harassment, theft
of intellectual property and also almost every kind of cyberattack;
6. Calls for help and the cooperation from the governmental intelligence agencies
from the international community;
7. Endorses the new act of cybercrimes to apprehend, prosecute and incarcerate the
individuals and entities responsible for cyberattacks against the sovereignty and
well-being of the international community consisting in:
a. Making a combination in Chinese definition of cybercrimes and
prosecuting according to Syrian penalties and sentences.
b. People's Republic of China, Republic of India, the United States of
America, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the
Republic of France agreed to give financial aid to Syria to build the new
jail system in order to incarcerate cybercriminals.
c. In the act new fees are going to be implemented against the
cybercriminals. The fees are going to be imposed according to what the
judge considers appropriate. Additionally, if there were financial
resources stolen, washed, embezzled or lost in any kind, the criminal must
pay the total amount of the financial resources to the affected
organization(s) or nation(s).
8. Welcomes the signatory countries to make part and follow the recommendations
stated in this resolution. Also welcomes any voluntary help from the international
community as long as it is inside the parameters of this resolution.
