PATTY CAKE
Ingredients
3 table spoons butter
1 cup of self raising flour
1 egg
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Pinch salt
¼ cup milk
Method
1. Beat butter and sugar to a cream
2. Add lightly beaten egg and vanilla. Beat well.
3. Stir flour andd salt together.
4. Fold in dry ingredients alternately with milk and mx well.
5. Drop heaped teaspoonfuls of mixture into well-greeased patty tins or
paper.
6. Bake in a moderate oven for 10 to 15 minutes
7. Cool on a wire rack
8. Ice with butter icing
