It’s Better Be

As we entrée the year of 2020, we cannot deny the facts that our world faces different
challenges and crisis that tested the resiliency of every nation. Not to mention that the latter part
of the 2019 the greater issue of climate change became the most talk problem but as it went
through many people were shaken as the a new type of virus scattered and alarmed people of
Wuhan, China. But aside from that, the mere notification of this virus disease became an outrage
of the many. Especially in our country, we sobered to much catastrophic events that we
encounter and have to face. From the beginning of this natural catastrophe stroke down some
parts of the southern Luzon area. Yet, we thought that this was the worst to experienced, we were
caught in the middle of the catastrophe and the NCOV-2019 enter in the scene.
This scenario forces the whole nation to be put in mandatory lockdown to avoid the
continuous propagation of the virus. Likewise, here in my local province the local government
unit lock the province earlier than the main land Luzon. Everything was suddenly stops from
operations and everyone were forced to stay in the vicinity of our every home. Only those in the
emergency field works were continue to work. And they were called the front liners.
We might think that event is heresy as we heard from the many. But we cannot deny the
fact that this is a type of war that we cannot assure how we are going to win in this battle. This
NCOV-2019 later became the COVID-19 virus which allegedly originated to Wuhan, China
from consumption of exotic food bats. Highly infectious because it targeted the respiratory tract
and as we can get along with this viral infection, most of the respiratory system became positive
immediately in this virus. The Corona Virus Infectious Disease of 2019 or COVID-19 came
from Nobel Corona Virus 2019. Because it is new, there are no possible cure, preventive
measures or anything to stop this crisis. People were oblige to do things that they weren’t used
to.
As time goes by, people nowadays became trained in the process of the new normal.
There are several regulations need to follow in order to be safe from this virus. This is a not joke.
We might think it like the government is playing with us, but in reality this war is far greater than
ay war. Because once inspected, we were forced to quarantine in the period of fourteen days
more defending of the health situation. But this virus is severely deadly, it claim lives of the
many. Though it may have lower mortality than other viral infection experienced by the world
form the past. It is still something to be afraid. It’s new and not yet studied intrinsically. So,
many people in white robes, offer their time and effort to find ways to prevent and stop this virus
but also it causes many of their lives. Many of them sacrifices their lives because of their up
close front and personal attending to the victims of this virus that make them susceptible to this
virus.
As of the moment, we are almost in the end of the year 2020, and this virus is still no
preventive measures. Though we have on-process vaccine production it is still not sure how
effective it is. We continue to hear high percentage of effectivity of this vaccine but it still not
tested to human yet. As we walk through this pandemonium of war, we as an ordinary people
and citizens of this world must continue the essential and prime defensive measure we could
make to avoid and prevent us to be infected by this virus. Wearing mask is a must and must not
take for granted. Keeping our body health, wearing additional gear face shield or PPE if possible.
And taking Vitamin C as our most affordable way to prevent from sickness. Clearly this virus is
part of our daily living and we cannot avoid it to be encountered in our daily life, there is always
a way to prevent it from affecting us. And focus on the now, we must prioritize our health and
keep us responsible in every aspects. This virus is not the only thing we must think though,
because as we scanned out there are still other problems that we have make solutions. And this
are bigger problems than this virus. Viruses and bacteria will come to the point that everything
has its cure but nature doesn’t. Virus infection has end but if we cannot gave importance to our
surroundings and to ourselves it may continue to deteriorate us.
As of the moment, our country were suffered in this virus since March at the same just
this November many provinces and cities were plundered by numbers of typhoons that is blamed
in the severity of climate change and environmental extortion and abuse. From virus to typhoons,
whether natural or man-made the core reason why these are happening is because of our
ignorance, greediness and inconsideration of the nature’s cycle. If I were ask, do we deserve
these? My answer is “Yes”, and if we not take actions immediately there are lot more to come.
Its better now and not later, its better be today and not tomorrow, its better be us and not them.
It’s we and them. It is I and you. Its better be us and us only because we only have one world to
live and one life to care of. Let’s give importance to our life, our world and our environment.
