I am Saloni Neema, a 3rd year Law student from National Law University
Visakhapatnam, writing to apply for an internship at Obhan & Associates, from 1st
December 2022 to 30th December 2022.

I have an intense interest in Intellectual property Laws which led me into interning
with prestigious law firms such as Sai Krishna & Associates, Scriboard [Advocates &
Legal Consultants], Vohra & Vohra IP Attorneys, Cholamandal IP, CIPRA, NLSIU
Bangalore. During my internships, I have had the opportunity to research on various
facets of Intellectual Property Rights and assisted in/draft various documents such
as assisted in Drafting a reply to Examination Reports and Objections of various
trademark Applications, assisted in Drafting of Copyright application for Bolly wood
songs and Case Briefs etc. Recently I have also Presented a Paper titled “The Saga
on Traditional Knowledge: Protection, Promotion and Strategies at the National
Seminar held by CIPR&T DSNLU Visakhapatnam.

Further, owing to my inclination towards IPR, I wrote on Patents Laws Playing catch
up with AI, published at THE IP LAW POST BY HNLU Raipur. I also wrote on the
interplay of Artificial Intelligence Technologies with trademark and Copyright, which
got published at Metacept. I have been actively involved as a member of THE IP
PRESS a team of IP-Holics.

Apart from IP Centric work, I have also presented a research paper on the Interface
between IPR and Competition law at the National Law School of India University,
Bangalore and the interplay between RERA and IBC: A dispute resolution
perspective at WBNUJS, Kolkata. Recently I wrote on CCI treats Non-Commercial
Economic Entity as “Enterprise” which got published at IndiaCorpLaw. I have 20
Publications in my name. I was also an Octa-finalist in the 13th NLUJ Antitrust Moot
competition. 

Being an intern under you will help me continue my commitment to IPR. I will acquire
the proper skills required for a career in IPR. In the light of the above, kindly endow
me with the opportunity to intern to set myself on the right path towards a successful
career.
