Aim: Draft a project plan using Open Project.
Open Project is an open source project management software application. Open Project offers
Powerful collaboration features and meets highest requirements in data privacy and Security. It
offers an appealing intuitive user interface. Also the majority of features are fully accessible.
Open Project operates on multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix.
Due to continuous development enhancements, Open Project has an enormous potential,
which outdrives common project management software. Open Project is licensed under the
items of the GNU General Public License version 3. Open project’s plugins also support in
variety of functionalities, such as meeting managements, Scrum methodologies, time and cost
reporting, etc.. Open Project also includes companies and organizations to participate and
consider their requirements and ideas to improve the software, e.g. in terms of data privacy,
security, usability and accessibility. Open Project provides a place to collaborate, exchange
ideas, best practices and new requirements for companies as well as individuals.
The open source software, Open Project, is provided free of charge to companies of all sizes.
Consumers may download the application as many times as needed for all team members

Steps of Installing Open Project
Step 1: Download the installation file of Open Project from
http://sourceforge.net/project/openproject/files.
Step 2: Double click the installation file to install Open Project.
Step 3: After the Installation, double click the shortcut of Openproj.exe on the
desktop to execute it.
