Aim :
To verify Kirchhoff’s
law by comparing resistance
obtained from a circuit to those
predicted by Kirchhoff’s law

Apparatus required:

1. Digital multimeter

2. 2.2 ohm resistor

3. Soldering iron

4. Wax

5. Soldering wire

6. Stand for soldering iron


Theory:
1. Kirchhoff’s current law:

It states that the


algebraic sum of all current at
any node is 0 .
∑I = 0
2. Kirchhoff’s voltage law

It states that the sum of


changes in potential around
any closed path of electric
circuit involving resistors and
the cells in the loop is 0.
∑V = 0
Kirchhoff’s law of
voltage supports the law of
conservation of energy
according to which
