History of Village: Talegaon Dabhade village is located in Mawal tehsil of Pune district in
Maharashtra, India. It is situated 15km away from sub-district headquarters Vadgaon (tehsildar
office) and 26km away from district headquarter Pune. The village gets its name by virtue of its
location; it is surrounded by numerous lakes, the famous one being the Indrayani River in Varale.
The prominent language spoken in areas nearing Talegaon is Marathi & Hindi.

Famous for: Its natural waterfalls, Ganesh temple, & an equestrian centre.
