Introduction

At the end month of 2019, some cases of pneumonia are registered in

Wuhan, Hubei, China. After diagnosing these cases, the etiology of the virus
was not captured. Later in research, it was found that the trace of the
disease closely matches the combination of SARS-CoV-2 and MERS-CoV-2.
These viruses cause respiratory diseases.
A total of 61.5 crore people suffered from Covid-19 and 65.4 lakh people lost
their lives across the globe.Covid-19 has high transmittance rate, thus early
diagnosis of patients suffering from coronavirus is one of the techniques to
avert the circulation of Covid-19 among normal people.

Introduction

Introduction

The commonly used technique for detection of Covid-19 is Real Time

Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR). However, the test kit of RT-PCR is
very expensive and has other problems like large time in revelation
To overcome the short comings of RT-PCR , radio graphical techniques such
as Computed Tomography (CT) and Chest x-ray images were opted to
diagnose the Covid19 positive patients.
To accelerate the analysis time, Deep Learning-based approaches were
adopted to extract the components from the chest x-ray scans of Covid-19
patients. The major advantage of using these approaches is that the weights
of the network are trained on a large dataset.
