Dear Medline Industries,

I am applying for your Engineering Intern position advertised on Handshake through

UW-Milwaukee. My diverse background, professional experience, and engineering skills will
make me an excellent candidate for this internship.

I’m currently in an Engineering internship through the firm Ruekert and Mielke. I’ve had the
chance to learn computer systems such as AutoCad and Bluebeam, and apply my skills by
creating a daily report that engineers and project managers see involved in the site.

My experience at Kohl’s Corporate will give me very translatable skills applicable for this intern
position. I have experience using Excel’s pivot tables, conditional formatting, vlookups, and
index matching. I have also been using introductory coding software SQL to create a report that
is viewable by the entire company. My current tasks also include managing all allocation and
replenishment systems, giving strategic advice to management about customer insights and
giving fiscal estimates, all very translatable skills for this engineering internship.

What makes me unique as an intern is that I have completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics,
and am over halfway through my Mechanical Engineering degree through UW- Milwaukee. This
gives a unique combination of business, financial, and engineering background to thrive in this
role.
