The oceans are so vast and deep that until fairly recently, it was widely

assumed that no matter how much trash and chemicals humans dumped into
them, the effects would be negligible. As a citizen, I think the human is
definitely responsible for this.
Marine pollution, as distinct from overall water pollution, focuses on
human-created products that enter the ocean. Humans around the word
spewed trash, sewage sludge, and chemical, industrial, and radioactive
wastes into the ocean with impunity. As a result, they have to deal with
many problems in their lives such as health, inhabitants,…
In order to solve this, Globally, many countries have decided to take action
by implementing new policies and initiating projects that will help clean up
the ocean and protect it from further pollution. Some countries developed new
waste management projects including the construction of new treatment
plants or the re-design of plastic packaging using only sustainable materials.
Over the last three years the actions taken as a result of the conference has led
to the protection of roughly 9.9 million square kilometers of ocean.
Besides, Governments have the responsibility to make the public realize the
severity of ocean pollution and conservation issues. Corporations, companies,
and organizations can be examples for doing their part in helping the
environment and providing educational resources for the public. 
More importantly, human plays a key role in reducing ocean polutions,
especially youngth. A way to raise awareness among youth is to make it a part
of their early education such as implementing Environmental Science into
their high school academic requirements so that they start learning about their
surroundings and how they impact it at a younger age.
In a nutshell, Ocean awareness can be done on both the local, regional,
national or international level since anyone from local people to governments
have the power to ignite a change in societies around the world because of its
seriously pollution. As a citizen, I also make contribution to prevent ocean
from polutant and involve in environmental protection in area.
