My Holiday in Bandung

My summer holidays are often a little boring, but my summer holiday last year was
great – my family and I got onto an airplane and flew to Indonesia! It was our first
time to visit Indonesia. We got up very early almost every day and did lots of really
fun and interesting things. On our first day, we arrived in Indonesia’s capital city,
Jakarta and went straight to Bandung. Later in the week, we visited the famous
Tangkuban Perahu Mountain where we saw fascinating large crater panorama and
the three main crater.

It was fantastic! I took lots of

photos. We also went to
Pangandaran Beach which is
about 4 hours drive where we
felt like owner of the beach,
because we stayed at a place
about 100 meters away from
the beach. Unfortunately, we
didn’t swim as much as we
wanted in the ocean because
the we only stayed there for
two days, but we did do many other fun things. Of course, we also visited our
cousins who live in Bandung. One evening, they took us out to enjoy Bandung’s
traditional meals and street food. After we finished our food, we invited them to
come to our home one day. Finally, after two weeks, before we left Indonesia, my
family and I went shopping and bought lots of souvenirs to help us remember our
time in Bandung, Indonesia. Maybe we can travel again during my next summer
holiday. Maybe we can make plans to visit other parts of Indonesia, like Raja Ampat
or Malang.
