The learning preferences of today's students are increasingly oriented toward digital,
web-based, and mobile-based technologies. ICT greatly simplifies the implementation of all
educational learning theories and delivery models that support and encourage innovative
teaching and learning modalities. Our campus is equipped with a plethora of tools and systems.
that is available for efficient content management. Access at any time and from any location.
One of the most common. MOODLE is a popular learning management system that allows for
the creation of powerful and flexible online courses, as well as encounters. Furthermore, The Use
of ICT in Engineering Education: A Survey Report that investigates the usefulness of digital
technologies. It shows that the ICT aids the problem and difficulties in engineering education
through teaching-learning activities like administrative, formative-summative assessments,
student's performance tracking, training, knowledge management, and knowledge organization.
From this survey report, we can develop more advancements in ICT to meet the needs of
engineering education.

Now that we are in the midst of the pandemic, Engineering students have been disrupted

by this rampaging pandemic, but Information and Communication Technology (ICT) gives

solutions to cope with new learning opportunities. However, engineering education has been

traditionally content-centered, hands-on, and design-oriented (Journals, 2022). And so face to

face interaction is necessary, especially when undergoing laboratory subjects. Furthermore,

When done physically, engineering education has a high rate of success. However, things have

changed dramatically for engineering students since COVID-19. Most engineers recall lab

experiments, group projects, and, of course, student nightlife and extracurricular activities from

their university days . And, in order for engineering education to adapt to this new learning

system, ICT must be used. As stated in the study's introduction, recent advances in ICT played a

critical role in modeling the educational system in the midst of a pandemic. Because we live in

the twenty-first century, where web and mobile-based technology are increasingly appealing to

students, ICT-based learning systems are simple to implement. One of the best example, the

most widely used learning systems is MOODLE, which was mentioned in this study. MOODLE

also includes features that help with service optimization, such as user management, course

management, online editing, data storage, and access to visual analytics, academic tracking,

accountability, session participation, attendance, mark assessments, tutorials, project evaluation,

collaborative study, blogs, and forums. With this survey report determining the effectiveness of

this type of learning system (MOODLE) to students, we can identify the advancement we need

to meet the needs of students. For example, if this system is difficult to use, we must make it

more user-friendly.

As with any other research, there are advantages and disadvantages. For example,

studying online has a number of disadvantages, particularly for engineering students. Students in

online courses are less likely to complete and are more likely to receive lower grades. This

demonstrates that e-learning has significantly reduced student productivity. Students' decreased

productivity indicates that their interest in learning is waning. This survey attracted 250 student

respondents, indicating a high level of student satisfaction. This new learning environment has

an impact on teachers as well. There are teachers who teach without the use of technology. This

could lead to numerous errors in the teaching process and the collection of student records. This

survey report collects data on teachers' perceptions of using ICT in order to better prepare them

to handle ICT.

If we have disadvantages, we also have advantages. Today, we don't need to look any

further than our own home or even our own room to see some form of ICT in our lives. We all

have them in some form or another, whether it's a computer, plasma TV, or mobile phone.

People in today's society, as ICT consumers, all strive for the same dream – the dream of a

connected life. As a result, ICT has become a lifestyle choice for a large portion of the

population. Furthermore, this way of life is altering how we communicate, increasing the rate of

consumerism, and altering how we interact and gather information (Sherringham, Dec 2008/Jan

2009). Moreover, We can change the fact that ICT has infiltrated and transformed many aspects

of our lives to the point where we live in an environment dominated by technology, which is

driven by consumers (Semenov, 2005). Whatever perspective we take on its presence, there is no

denying that it is an important part of our lives and that it is here to stay.

This research paper provides well-written information about the use of ICT in

engineering students, as well as data that will be used to determine and investigate the efficacy of

digital technologies. The disadvantages of this new learning setup, which are experienced by

both teachers and students as unproductiveness and unpreparedness, can be addressed with this

survey report. Furthermore, students' and teachers' perceptions of the experimental infrastructure

will aid in the development of ICT advancement. Lastly, I would say that ICT plays a larger role

in teaching-learning activities such as content creation, administrative, formative-summative

assessments, student performance tracking, training, knowledge management, and knowledge

organization. The Modular Object Oriented Developmental Learning is an example of open

source educational software. Modular Object Oriented Developmental Learning Environment

(MOODLE) appears to be the most user-friendly, with a plethora of features. The purpose of this

paper is to investigate the utility of digital technologies integrated into a blended learning model

for engineering education.
