PTA RESOLUTION NO. 1

Series of 2021

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HON. HERMINIGILDO A. GUALBERTO,

MAYOR, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, LA UNION FOR FUNDING OF THE
PROJECT: CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE ROAD OF DALUMPINAS
ELEMENTARY CITY OF SAN FERNANDO , LA UNION.

WHEREAS, Dalumpinas Elementary School is a small school situated

on a hillside where parents, children, parents, stakeholders and the whole
community utilized the staircases constructed in 1974 in going up the
school.
 WHEREAS, due to its longevity, the staircases are misaligned,
dilapidated and ruined, the steps had undergone minor repairs, nonetheless
this has not resolved the problem. The staircases had withstood all weather
conditions and satisfactorily served its purpose.

WHEREAS, the learners, the teachers, parents and the community

people walk through the stairway in going up to the school up to this time.

WHEREAS, in times of emergency where one of the learners met an

accident cannot be taken to the hospital right away because the teachers
need to carry the child down the road due to lack of accessible way for any
vehicle.

WHEREAS, Since 1974 up to this time the school supplies and

construction materials are manually carried overhead just like the teacher
in one of the pictures carrying the box of bond papers up to the school in
order to have materials for printing modules for the learners in this
Pandemic situation.

WHEREAS, among the schools in the City Schools Division of San

Fernando, La Union, only Dalumpinas Elementary School has no concrete
road that is accessible to any vehicles that may save lives in times of
emergency and make the school more comfortable and conducive place for
learning.

WHEREAS, during elections and other events of the school, Senior

Citizens and Person with Disability could hardly reach their precincts due to
the long staircases in going up to the school.

WHEREAS, the provision of concrete road for better and accessible

school in the transportation/delivery of goods, and a covered court for a
wider and voluminous area to accommodate the learners,
parents/stakeholders and teachers during schools programs and other
activities.

Now and Therefore, on motion of PASTOR JOHN M. MARTINEZ,PTA

PRESIDENT duly seconded by RODEBELL RIVERA, PTA Auditor.

RESOLVED by the PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION OF

DALUMPINAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, to request HON. HERMINIGILDO
A. GUALBERTO, to allocate funds for the construction of accessible
concrete road for the school.
