Content Standards: The learner demonstrates an understanding of communication


with one another.
Performance Standards: The learners shall be able to create a table listed the ways on how
they share information and communicate news and events.
Learning Competencies: To understand how communication is influenced the way you
lived

I – Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
1. To understand how communication is influenced by one another
(MIL11/12IMIL-IIIa-1)
2. To inculcate how communication affects their way of living
(MIL11/12IMIL-IIIa-2)
3. Ask students to perform an activity on how they share communication
with each other

Ask the students what is communication? And how communication influenced in their
lives
C. Activity Proper
Ask students to list down the ways on how they share information and
communicate news and events.

To discuss types of communication according to channels
1. Verbal communication
a. ORAL COMMUNICATION
b. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
2. Non-verbal communication
a. Appearance
b. Body Language
Types of communication based on purpose and style
1. FORMAL COMMUNICATION mostly takes place professional settings.
2. INFORMAL COMMUNICATION is the most commonly used form of
communication.
E. Abstraction/generalization
Ask students their ideas on Media Literacy?
And what does media mean?

Through MIL, individuals can attain the following:
1. Significant improvement in the quality of life
2. Greater political participation
3. Better economic opportunities
