The table illustrates the statistical values of the three different categories of

items which had spent by the consumer in five different countries during the
year 2002.

In the category of food or drinks or tobacco, the consumer spent lot of


expenditures in the Turkey (32.14%) and Ireland (28.91%) respectively. At the
same event, consumer had spent least amount in Sweden, Italy and Spain as
15.77, 16.36, 16.80 in percentage respectively.

In the case of clothing or footwear, in Ireland, Spain, Sweden and Turkey he


spent least in amount of expenditures while comparing the nine percentages
spent in Italy.

In the event of leisure and education, consumers spent less values compared to
other two categories. Consumer spend lots of expenditures in turkey(4.35%) on
comparison of other four countries in 2002.

In conclusion, consumers spent drastically in the category of food, drinks and


tobacco while not drastically spends on leisure and education categories. At the
same time, consumers spent slightly decreased in amounts of expenditures
recorded in Sweden.
