I recently watched the movie, “The Case for Christ.

” It is an inspiring story about how a die-hard

atheist came to acknowledge the existence of God and eventually became a Christian. The movie
is based on a best-selling book with the same title.
Details contribute to a sense of delight. Chicago is given the opportunity to shine because to
the excellent cinematography. It's encouraging to watch Strobel scribbling in his notepad in
response to fresh knowledge, even when it contradicts his presumptions. Everyone feels elderly
seeing him engage with 1980s technology (pay phones, typewriters). A fascinating parallel
narrative involving a falsely accused cop-shooter, as well as the tidbit about the world's most
virulent skeptics being the offspring of poor or missing fathers, could have utilized a little
more time. That is a truly distressing truth in our culture, and it has the potential to spark a lot
of debate. And, like Rogue One, the film ends suddenly (but with fewer plot holes).

The film does an outstanding job of answering issues that many people have, such as: Is it
conceivable that Jesus did not die on the cross? When Jesus resurrected from the grave, why did
He appear to women? Why are there minor discrepancies in historical descriptions of events?
The Case for Christ will also encourage the spectator to ponder the "why" and "how" of many of
the events that occurred throughout Christ's life. As the film depicts, inquiries are beneficial
when they lead to self-discovery of answers.
Without giving too much away about the finale, this film teaches us that we should never lose
hope for our friends and loved ones. Even the most hardened heart may be won over to Christ's
love and power. Continue to pray for individuals you care about and ask the Lord to work in
their lives.

Many Christians prefer to point to Lee Strobel as an atheist who, while researching the historicity
of Jesus, came to believe in his existence and became a Christian. So even if you're a devout
atheist, you can be a Christian if you just examine the facts, right? Wrong. I've examined the data
and can confidently state that if Jesus of the Bible lived, there is simply no proof for him.

The main issue is that I don't believe Lee Strobel was ever a true atheist. He may have stated that
he was. He may have believed that for a while, but I believe he had a religious foundation,
drifted away from it at some point, labeled himself an atheist without ever genuinely trusting in
God, and then returned when his wife converted.
Modern religion is (finally) in its dying throes, as evidenced by films like these. This is
desperation at this stage, a desperate attempt to gain public support for the belief in a deity.

Am I a Vicarious believer in my own beliefs or not? Why?”
