Having experienced going to the play in live theatres, I realized a lot of
things. The first thing I realized is that people break the rules no matter how big the consequences are, just to attain temporary happiness, just like in the lion king, Scar killed his own brother Mufasa just to be the King. And it left Simba in misery. It is against the fifth commandment which is "though shall not kill" In the play there is also baptism which shows us that they also have the same practices as ours. Though the lion king might be based on animals but the show really relates to us people of the modern age. It shows us how the world is balanced no matter how unfair it seems. It also shows us that trying hard and going through a lot will bring us success, it also shows us that there will always be a good side and a a bad side of the world, there will always be balance, If there is positive there is always negative. The play also shows us that there are people who are too focused in a goal that they forget who they truly are. In times of despair and grief, just pray and have faith in God and all will be alright in time.
