Bank Manager’s Dilemma

a) The General manager of State Bank of India NCR circle asked the branch manager SBI Rajnagar
branch to improve the services of his/her branch. One way to improve was to improve the services
provided by the tellers. There are 5 tellers in this branch. The manager recorded the service time of
each of the tellers on a particular day. After studying the data, the manager is trying to draw some
inferences on what should his/her strategies to improve the services provided.

b) The branch manager gave an advertisement in the local newspaper stating that no customer has to
wait for more than 3 minutes to get the services in the branch. Will he/she be able to fulfil this
promise?
