The Manifest

of Shame
Today, April 9, 2021, for the first time in
my life, I want to tell the world how asha-
med I feel to call myself “human”.

Maybe, you will say that I lose my mind or

that I am crazy. I understand you perfectly
because I have not yet explained my rea-
sons:

According to BBC News, scientists estima-

te that we are about 8. 7 million species
on the planet, most of them still unclassi-
fied. This is good because that indicates
that the principle of life is diversity.

Among them, only one is human, made

up of 7. 7 billion individuals. But for some
stupid reason, we believe that thanks to
god, we are in some way superior creatu-
res to others. Additionally and, for ano-
ther similar motive, we can put a price on
everything around us.
Planet is home to 8.7 million species:

What’s a plague?
According to biology, the term “pest”
does not relate to the total number of
individuals. In forests, there are millions
of insects and, they are not a pest. That
term refers to grabbing natural resources:
a small and defined group, making survi-
val difficult to others by accumulating all
the elements and, at the same time, mul-
tiplying without any control.

This is the core of the capitalist model:

1% of the population (77 million people)
owns 99% of the global resources, lea-
ving 7. 623 million without many chan-
ces. This, without taking into account
8. 699 million of species that do not have
the right to own.

Yes, that is what humans are and, that is

how the brain works: an organ and a spe-
cies capable of creating illusions to
obtain food, resources, land and, even the
maintenance of life by an abusive compe-
tition, for everyone, where accumulation,
selfishness, strength, and indifference are
the rules of the game.

the turn of

Who is, really, a plague on this planet?
Among us humans, who behaves like a
plague (grabbing, even without needing,
everyone's resources and encouraging or
justifying destruction, extinction and,
annihilation? Who is indifferent toward
majorities, including animals, plants,
fungi, monera, and protists? Who lies and
takes over nature with greed, justifying
this big monster called capitalism? Who
wants to maintain debt in the consump-
tion model?

1% of the world’s population

owns 82% of the world’s
wealth, while the remaining
99% have to endure hopeless-
ness, lack of opportunity,
wars, hunger, humiliation and
injustice, for a little well-be-
ing in life.
The sixth global mass extinction of species began
some years ago to keep the consumer model called
Capitalism.
