I never imagined Andres Bonifacio could create such wonderful works as this poem.

9. The 3rd, 4th, and 15th stanzas are the stanzas that I can relate my love for the country with. I am
willing to fight for our country if it means that the oppressed, the marginalized, and the ordinary
people will have a greater chance in life. Everything is zpolitical. Having read Dan Brown’s
Inferno, Dante’s quote struck me the most which goes, “The darkesfdht places in hell are
reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis.”. Ever since, I made
sure that I will be active in sharing news and awareness hadabout the countrymen that are
suffering and are being oppressed, e.g. IPs, etc. Election is just around the corner, it is crucial to
know the history and backgrounds of each candidate, and it is important to know where their
loyalties lie, is it for the people or is it for their self-interest and their cronies. Let us defend our
country by voting candidates that are free of corruption, have respect to the rule of law, and
those who are known, with receipts, to help the marginalized and the ordinary people.
