ANALYTICS REPORT - EXCEL DASHBOARD (30%)

You are tasked to form a group of 5 to 7 members to design an EXCEL DASHBOARD from the data
provided. Guideline below can be used as reference.

Step #1 –Data Selection and Descriptive Statistics

a. Download a dataset (any preferable data set) from LMS or any dataset that you find it interesting
from any websites (Kaggle).
b. Show the frequency distribution table for 5 different variables related to your area of interest.
c. Show the calculations on the measure of central tendency (Mean, Mode and Median) and measure
of dispersion (Range, Variance, Standard Deviation) for 5 different variables related to your area
of interest.
d. Use a new tab for each different variable.

Step #2 – Data Analysis & Presentation of Results

DASHBOARD must include, but are not limited to, the following.
a. At least TWO graphs of a quantitative variable
b. At least TWO graphs of a qualitative variable
c. At least ONE interactive slicer that enables comparison between 2 observations
d. Find the CORRELATION coefficient for two suitable variables and give a brief interpretation
e. By using PIVOT table, discover THREE meaningful findings of the data set.

Step #3 – Format and submission

You are to submit a SOFTCOPY of the below documents on LMS:
i. 1 copy of the EXCEL including the data set, descriptive statistics, and dashboard
ii. 1 copy of marking rubric with members names (in Excel format)
Please name your files in the format of “Group, File name, Title”
For example:
GroupA1, Dashboard, Lazada
GroupA1, Rubric, Lazada

You may use resources such as books, periodicals, journals, or websites for reading materials or extra
information. While most of your information may be gathered from the Internet, please be aware that only
reliable sources should be used. Information taken from Wikipedia is NOT ALLOWED.
