Leaving my job soon and they don't have someone for me to hand over my work to yet, so
  rush on my last week I want
to avoid a mad
 to record

a bunch of videos of me walking

through my essential reports, databases etc.

On my desktop I use loom but we work with health data so recording to a third party
website would be a no.

Is there a good screen recorder for windows that will also record my microphone,
particularly one that can record up to an hour or more?

VS Code creating dozens of Python processes that drain battery - any
 idea how to stop this?
Whenever I use VS Code for a Python project, my battery begins draining rapidly. When I
checked Activity Monitor, there were dozens of instances of "python3.10", each using 200
MB of memory. Any idea why this happened or how I can prevent this from happening
when using VS Code?

 about "open access" or "after hours access" IllegalLifeProTip
This isn't exactly illegal, but its definitely not what it's originally intended to do. I work for
my city's library system, and apparently they want to start implementing a thing called
"open access" where if you're on good standing with the city then you can ask to have
after hours access to the library, where they just put a flag on your library profile and you
can get in whenever you want by swiping your card at the front door.

Technically this isn't 24 hour access, it's specifically 7AM to midnight, but there's
absolutely nothing stopping you from staying beyond that and doing whatever you want.
There are no guards or cops or staff of any kind to tell you to go away, and as long as you
don't give them a reason to, this flag doesnt expire and is completely free.

Again, this isn't illegal, but if you have this card and flag on your account and you ever run
into a situation where you can't put a roof over your head, especially if it's brutally hot or

Help: Form Control cutting strings short Solved

 So i am working on a final project for school and i am trying to make a ticketing system
where you can edit some information about the ticket. The new ticket page is the same
page that is loaded if you are viewing and editing an existing ticket. So the form control
sections are empty unless you referenced a ticket. If you did, they should be auto
populated. In my tickets though i am getting strings that are incomplete.

For example here is what i am coding

For the date section, it is full date and time YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS yet when it is auto
populated i get YYYY-MM-DD only

Drainage problem. OR: I have the dumbest family member to ever walk
 planet earth help
So, I have inherited my family home since my grandmother passed away.

This place was built by my grandfather's hand in the 50s. I have been wanting to do it
justice since both he and my grandmother passed away.

I got a both pest control, and a random contractor out to have a look under the crawl
space for various problems. The pest control man said there was a "poo-sicle". The
contractor said they would not do work until the drainage was fixed. Needless to say, it
was time to go under there and find out what the hell is going on.

I have discovered our root cause - the sink drain was never connected to the goddamn drain.
For a million years, every drop of water, soap, shaving cream and whatever has been just
simply draining on the ground.

Help understanding what exactly the for i in range loop is doing here
 I'm in a bioinformatics course at my university and so far we've gone over how to use the
range loop to manipulate DNA sequences. Everyone in the course has varying knowledge
of Python and I'm a total beginner.

We are learning to solve very simple concepts, like "Take this short DNA sequence here:
ATGCCGTAGGATTTCTAA and, using the for i in range loop, count how many times a stop
codon (can be TAG, TGA, or TAA) appears in the sequence".
