PANGEA APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Eligibility criteria
Decision-making process

Academic requirements: first higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor, Licence) or a recognised
equivalent level of learning in the field of Earth Sciences, Natural Sciences, or secondarily Life
Sciences. Alternatively, certified enrolment in last year of first higher education degree.
Mastering of English language (for non-native speaker): B2 Level or equivalent
About the programme (selection, mobility, fees, scholarships…)
I know the Pangea mobility tracks.
I have read the course catalogue.
I have read and understood the selection procedure and criteria.
I know what is a Programme country and a Partner country.
I have read and understood the EMJMD scholarship regulations, and other funding possibilities.
Referee
I have contacted 2 referees who agreed to provide reference letters online and have their
contact. Referees will be invited by e-mail to upload their recommendation letters before the
application deadline.
Documents to prepare (as pdf, jpg, png)
Digital copy of your diploma(s) / degree(s) certificate(s) or certificate of enrolment from your

university (for last year students). Add English translation if applicable.


Transcripts of records (stating in details all courses taken and grades obtained in the course as
well as a general grading scale and average necessary grade (BSc and MSc if applicable). These
documents must be dated, signed and stamped. Add English translation if applicable.
A letter from your university attesting your ranking in the class (if that information does not
appear on your transcript of records). Add English translation if applicable. (Facultative)
Official English language certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, certificate of a University Language Centre
testifying that the student masters the necessary knowledge of English to function academically
(specify CEF-level) or a Cambridge English certificate - Cambridge English First (FCE), TOEIC).
Curriculum Vitae in English. Please, note that it is compulsory to use the provided template .
Proof of residence (See details in the "Application procedure" page). Please, provide a proof of
residence of your current address, i. e the address from which you will travel from at the moment
of your enrolment.
Certificate of all internship/work placements mentioned in your CV (to be uploaded as ‘other
documents relevant for the application’)
Declaration of honour (see ‘downloads’ webpage)
All document size is less than 10MB (maximum accepted size)

Fill in and submit the first step of your online application (personal information). Be sure to use
a permanent e-mail address.
An account has been created for you to be able to resume this application later. Details of this

Save your username and password (they will be required to connect and resume your
application).
Filling in and submitting the application
Validate each step to save it.
All required information must be provided to validate a step (see ‘preparing the
application’ above!)
Once all steps are validated and your documents are uploaded, submit your application
(definitive action).
